Dharmapriya Dias

Halaperuma Arachchige Dharmapriya Dias, renowned as Dharmapriya Dias, is a celebrated Sri Lankan actor, director, and playwright, recognized for his profound contributions to theater, television, and cinema. Born on April 19, 1975, in Kesbewa, Sri Lanka, Dharmapriya’s journey into the arts began early. He showed a passion for drama during his school years at Sir John Kothalawala Maha Vidyalaya and Piliyandala Central College, where he studied under the guidance of Premakumara Karunaratne, a well-respected mentor in the Sri Lankan arts community. His academic journey later led him to earn a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colombo and a Master of Arts from the University of Kelaniya, both of which provided a solid foundation for his diverse career in the arts.
